And not practical with kids.

Other than when I hid them from my dog when he was a puppy, they’ve held up well! They cover my arm chairs at my dining room table… And they are sooo cozy!

Maybe it’s the quarantining mentality that I’m in but I love the softness. I have seen some very gorgeous, very expensive shearling chairs out there and they’re fab. They have a bit of the Scandi feeling which is so popular. Would be great for a northern cottage or ski chalet. I’ve also seen them in black which would be easier to keep clean (if no shedding dogs!).

It’s super cozy and petite sized. Disclaimer: I have no kids but I use this as my reading nook chair with a small side table for coffee and my ipad/book. Good price for a quality/trendy item. Stay tuned for how it looks in a few months… :)

I wouldn’t purchase one, it would look crazy in my home, but in the right place, I can see it. I would rather get a cozy faux fur throw.

However, I think they would look terrible within a month of anyone sitting on/using them. Matted texture, grimy surface that just grips every piece of dirt, lint, pet hair, or whatever else gets on furniture. No thank you! I like your idea of trying the look on something smaller/less of a commitment, like a pillow or bean bag chair, though.

I like classic and timeless both in furniture and clothing.

And i think if you didn’t get like a high end knoll fabric, it would feel cheap, and more attractive in pictures than IRL. I was at Target recently and saw the Studio McGee ottomon. It’s very pretty online, but doesn’t look high end at all in person. Those curvy sofas above are to die for though!
